I grew up in the Napa Valley, the daughter of a winemaker
and a landscape gardener. My parents and
twin brother now live in Ashland, OR. I
came to the Bay Area to go Mills College where I studied English and I went on
to get my M.F.A in Creative Writing from New York University. I have been a legal secretary for many years
and I currently work at a progressive law firm in the city. I try to keep my creative side alive and write
fiction and creative nonfiction.
I also
practice a very cool Indonesian martial art at a great school in Oakland. I am
very excited to become a part of the Grace family!
