Thank You from ELCA World Hunger Project

Lost month, members of Grace hosted a block party and bake sale to raise funds to provide pigs for families in need in countries around the world through the ELCA World Hunger Project.  We raised $420 dollars - enough for 14 pigs.

Below you will find our thank you letter from the ELCA (click on the image below to see a larger version of the letter).

Join us at Saturday from 12pm - 4pm.

Volunteers are needed to help from 11am-5pm to help serve lunch, chat with neighbors and to help with games and art projects.

Bring baked goods to sell to raise money for pigs!  

Each pig is $30
 A pig in the pen is like money in the bank. Within months, a tiny piglet grows to weigh over 200 pounds! Should a family have a failed harvest, medical expense or other unexpected financial need, this pig can be sold for much-needed cash at the market.  You can learn more about this project at ELCA's good gifts.
